Returns & Exchanges Policy

At TechUp, we want you to shop with confidence. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 30-day change-of-mind return or exchange on eligible products.

Change of Mind Returns (30 Days)

You may return or exchange your item within 30 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The device is unused and in the same condition as received

  • All original accessories and packaging are included

  • You provide the invoice or order confirmation

Please note:

  • 🚫 Brand new sealed products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns unless faulty

  • 🚚 Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • Refunds are processed once the returned item has been received and inspected


12-Month Return-to-Base Warranty

All TechUp products come with a 12-month return-to-base warranty, unless otherwise stated.
The warranty period begins from the invoice date and remains valid for 365 days.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

📩 Contact our support team to initiate a warranty claim.
Once the device is received and the issue is confirmed:

  • 🔧 Repair or replacement will be completed within 5–7 working days

  • 💳 If repair or replacement is not possible, a refund will be issued

Warranty timeframes may vary slightly depending on parts availability. We’ll keep you informed throughout the process.


Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover devices that show:

  • ❌ Physical or liquid damage

  • ❌ Signs of tampering

  • ❌ Unauthorised repairs, modifications, or alterations by third-party technicians


Proof of Purchase

To process any return or warranty claim, you must provide:

  • 📄 The original receipt, or

  • 📧 A copy of the order confirmation email

Claims cannot be processed without valid proof of purchase.


Shipping for Warranty Claims

  • 📦 Customers are responsible for shipping the device to our facility, or may drop it off in person at our facility for their convenience

  • 🚚 TechUp will cover the return shipping for repaired or replacement devices


Damaged Items in Transit

Every device is thoroughly inspected and securely packaged before dispatch. While rare, transit damage may occasionally occur.

📦 If your item arrives damaged:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery at support@techup.nz

  • Our support team will respond within 4–6 business hours

⚠️ Claims reported after the 48-hour window cannot be accepted.
